Radiation-Sterilized Xenograft Bone
Batan Graft is an organic bone mineral, porous, osteoconductive with a carbonate apatite structure originating from bovine bone. Batan Graft acts as a biomaterial scaffold in bone defects, aiding in the regeneration process and regulating the growth of new bone. Due to its high biocompatibility, Batan Graft is highly suitable for use in augmentation or reconstructive treatment of alveolar ridge, filling infrabony periodontal defects, as a filler in periodontal defects and peri-implant defects, alongside products intended for Guided Tissue Regeneration and Guided Bone Regeneration, such as the combination of Batan Bran and Batan Graft products.
Advantages :
- The raw materials used are relatively safe, under specific conditions, and intended for single use.
- Strict sterilization procedures are implemented to ensure safety for human implantation.
- Resorption and remodeling profiles are adjusted to closely mimic natural bone structure rather than synthetic materials, resulting in a high level of biocompatibility.
- High porosity allows for vascularization, enhancing bone growth and implant osseointegration post-surgery.
- Volume and shape variations in filling, depending on surgical requirements.
- Surface roughness to enhance cellular response, increase cell adhesion, and cell proliferation.
